Real Estate Do Not Contact System
Do Not Contact system is a product available to the real estate agents where they can look up and also add records (email, phone number and fax) of people that do not want to be contacted.
This product is also pulling information from State and Federal lists.
My Role
Lead Product Designer.
Owning the entire user experience of the product which includes: user research, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, user testing and visual design.
Goal of the Project
- Complete redesign of the current Do Not Call system
- Improve agent's experience within the system and reduce number of steps needed to look up or add a record into the system
- Mobile responsiveness
Process
The current system was very confusing to users and had no structure and contained multiple redundant  steps to perform.
I started with in-person user tests at a local real estate office, to observe agents' interaction with current system and to find out their pain points and needs.
Proceeded with wireframes and presented to stakeholders and engineering team.
After a couple of feedback sessions, I moved on to visual design.

- Single record search result presented in a clear manner to avoid confusion
- Multiple records search results presented in a clear manner, showing Not Found records first since those are most important to users (people who they can call)
